Nice To Meet You

I’ve has been a physical therapist since December of 1999, graduating with a Masters in Physical therapy. I’ve worked primarily in an outpatient orthopedic setting sharpening my skills in analyzing and treating the musculoskeletal system of the human body. My desire to help my clients improve their function motivated me to continually expand my knowledge and I eventually got my Certification in Manual therapy through NAIOMT in 2008 and my Certification of Competency of Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University in 2011. With extra training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, manual lymphatic drainage, and lymphatic wrapping, I was also able to help many female clients with women’s health issues. Outside of the clinic, I participated in high schools sports physicals and assisted the athletic trainer of a local high school during home football games.

My first son was born premature and had breastfeeding issues. He was also diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and was mouth breathing during the day. He was and still is one of my inspirations for continual learning. In hopes of helping my son breathe better through his nasal passages, I searched for continuing education classes involving treatment of the cranial and facial bones. In 2017 I took my first Craniosacral (CS) class and I was forever changed. Once I felt the CS rhythm, my knowledge of the body was expanded. To me, it was the missing piece in my career (and life) that connected and bridged my understanding of restoring wellness in the human body and mind. Understanding CS also offered insight to my own journey in life.

I got certified in 2019 and found immense joy in incorporating healing art of Craniosacral into my physical therapy practice. And now, treating physical and energetic health with an emphasis on emotional well being is the foundation of my practice.
